FREEDOM, it's everything and we get to celebrate and appreciate it together on the 5th of May!
Not for nothing, dance and in specific Lindy Hop (an Afro-American dance) has always been a way to celebrate life. This especially in the light of its development in times of segregation and inequality in the US. Nowadays, the dance is danced everywhere in the world and people travel all around so that they get to explore the freedom of the Lindy Hop community.
Join an afternoon of LIVE music by two charismatic Swing Bands and dance performances & workshops by two local swing dance organisations (Lindy Spirit & Swing Philosophy).

Poptrash is er ook weer bij!
Verwacht een flinke dosis 80’s, 90’s, 00’s en nieuw werk. Poptrash draait je favoriete meezingers, lekkerste dansplaten van disco naar gitaren, de dikste beats, van hiphop naar rock en meer, kortom jullie kennen het recept ondertussen! Het afgelopen jaar kon je Poptrash horen bij shows van o.a. de Kraaien, Rondé, Hang Youth, Blóf, Prins S en de Geit, brachten ze een eigen single uit en kan je vanaf mei Poptrash weer zien zoals ooit begonnen. Met eigen feesten en afters in Amsterdam. Eerder stond Poptrash al op Lowlands, Down the Rabbit Hole, Mixtream en andere toffe festivals.
